TREATMENT

Treatment with the drug GS441524 lasts 12 weeks (84 days).
However, the actual duration may depend on many factors, including the cat's response to treatment, the severity of symptoms, its age and its general health.

It consists of a daily injection for 84 days. This period is followed by another 12 weeks of drug-free monitoring to ensure the cat goes into full remission from symptoms and returns to good health. Relapses may occasionally occur and are treated as a new FIP by doing the 84 day treatment all over again.

Wet/dry FIP 8 mg/kg cat body weight
Ocular FIP 10 mg/kg cat body weight
Neurological FIP 12 mg/kg cat body weight
